Farhan Noor is a 20 year old British Born Muslim who has taken his passion for art and driven it forward with a positive influence to display the beauty of Islam, by translating the scriptures of Arabic to fit into the 21st Century. His work bridges the past with the present as well as combining spiritual designs defining different cultural essences to present his art with elegence to fit in homes today.
Farhan Noor takes his inspiration from studying art in school focusing in various artists, but at the same time using todays technology with certain computer softwares to weave together showing grace and eloquence of Islamic Arabic Calligraphy.
Using modern interior surrounds and designs, his art is a fluid blend of up to date trends/colours keeping Islam as his primary inspiration.
Combining the scripture of Quranic calligraphy, allows Farhan to branch into new means and forms for people to understand what Islam is; which is rightly PEACE, deriving from the word 'ISLAM' itself.
Using Aerosol amoungst other mediums is a new way he uses to take forward and demonstrate Islamic art, as how everyone has their own way of showing their interpritation of Islam.
Farhan continues to explore new ways and ideas to show that Peace, Knowledge and Patience are concepts which are appreciated by people of all faiths and cultures, and is something that helps us all unite as one. |
